Dr. Passero completed four years of post-graduate medical education at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado. His Naturopathic training included extensive education in natural therapeutics in addition to detailed training in case management and scientific principles of medicine. While there, Dr. Passero trained and preceptored with some of the nations leading doctors in the field of natural medicine.
Dr. Passero continues his post-graduate training through ongoing participation in continuing education and preceptor-ship with other experts in the field of natural medicine. In addition to private practice, Dr. Passero works with leading manufacturers of natural health products and as a Naturopathic Consultant for several companies interested in bringing information and products pertaining to natural health to the public in a responsible manner. He is also the host of the popular radio show “The Essentials of Healthy Living” that airs weekly in the Washington DC area. This work keeps him abreast of the latest medical research regarding natural medicine.
In his practice, Dr. Passero focuses on restoring harmony to both the body and mind using advanced protocols that incorporate herbal therapy, homeopathy, vitamin therapy and nutritional programs. Through education and guidance patients are able to unlock the natural healing power contained within each one of us.
He is currently the President of the Maryland Association of Naturopathic Physicians (please link to www.mdanp.org) and is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (please link to http://www.naturopathic.org).
